Matching Rattle Block and Security Blanket
Retail Value: $16.90
Submitted by Rosene Martin
Business: Country Inspirations by Rosene
Open to USA only
I’m a stay at home mother to 4 in the woods of Berks County, PA. I began crafting over 8 years ago when our oldest was a preemie. Over the past years I expanded from cathedral window table runners, aprons, and placemats to bed runners and a huge variety of children items! Coming up with new baby items is so fun since I’m in the midst of that stage! Winking facerattle blocks are hugely popular. I also sew security blankets, bibs, sleep sacks, suck pads for baby carriers, nuk clips, burp clothes, and children aprons! (The suck pads were a special request from a customer and since the day I officially added them to my shop, they have been a huge success!) Baby blankets are another custom request. I welcome requests and ideas! You can email me at rosene@countryinspirations.com. I also sell thru my facebook page Country Inspirations by Rosene. If you ‘like’ my page, you can keep up to date with current prints and new products! The security blankets are $7.95 and the rattle blocks are $8.95. ~ Rosene

I love this time of year because of the things we do together as a family, like listening to Christmas music, decorating, baking, and doing special things to celebrate Jesus’ birth.

I haven’t done much baking for Christmas yet, but I love to bake something for our neighbors!

Christmas is just such a warm, cozy, happy time. It’s my favorite holiday. Add in that our yearly tradition is to spend Christmas with my parents who live 16 hours away, and I love it for sure! 😄😄
Kendra says
I would, too!! I miss my folks at Christmas . . . and all my siblings and in-laws. But I am thankful for friends!
Dinah says
Love Time Keeper. Have used it for a number of years.
Kendra says
It looks lovely – maybe I will have to try it some year!
Teresa says
I love this time of year! Today, Dec 1st, it’s cozy inside, the Christmas music is soothing to my soul and I don’t have one Christmas decoration up yet! 🙂 I’m sure that’ll change soon….but I love that it feels like Christmas anyways! Thanks for neat Christmas give away!
Kendra says
You’re welcome. And I will confess that the kids and I put up our decorations the day before Thanksgiving!
Rosetta Gingerich says
The best part of Christmas is family—celebrating the birth of Jesus together!
Kendra says
Yep — and I miss my family so far away . . . so I’ve adopted some here!! 😉

I love Christmas music!

One of my favorites is listening to “Stille Nacht” by Mannheim Steamroller while I’m doing dishes!

I love everything about Christmastime! Especially being with family that I don’t see all that often! A tradition we have is game night with music on Christmas Eve then church in the morning! Happy Advent and Merry (early) Christmas. 🙂
Kendra says
And a Merry Christmas to you, too! Your game night sounds splendid.
Diane Histand says
I simply clicked enter on the salve, chalkboard (done by my neice) and the baby blanket (what a loveyly gift it would make) Is that all I have to do, it seemed odd to not enter an email or anything. Not real techy which I am sure is obvious
Kendra says
Your entries are all there! 🙂 I just checked the backend on the rafflecopter forms. You’re all set!
Rachel Nolt says
CHRISTMAS- first off I love that we focus some time on the birth of Christ (it can be debatable if we spend to much time or not on the decor/food/shopping). 2nd- I love hot drinks and all the food:/ 3rd- I love wintertime scenery and sledding/skating ect.
Kendra says
I’m so glad you included more than one thing!!
Ruthie says
I love seeing the excitement of Christmas in the eyes of my little boys; they love to exclaim over the lights when we’re out for a drive and also like to crank out the Manheim Steamroller as soon as I tell them it’s that time again! I think we took requests for Away in a Manger at bedtime devotions ’til about June last year. 🙂
Kendra says
How sweet! Kids are great at remembering their “favorites” for a very long time.
Mrs L says
I enjoy your blog, Kendra. This giveaway is a neat idea with others sharing. A few things I enjoy this time of year is spending time with family and the music and food of course; the dainty dishes and goodies!
Kendra says
Oh I agree with you there! I love the Christmas goodies.
Dorcas S. says
I think some of my favorite things about Christmas is family activities, cookie exchanges, Christmas music, and this Christmas we are celebrating with an extra special gift in the form of our 3rd precious daughter just a week old now. (So some of the things like cookies might not happen 🙂 ) Definitely puts an extra meaning to Christmas for me. Mary was probably going thru some of the same things with baby Jesus! 🙂
Kendra says
I am sure that does put a different spin on Christmas for you!! Incredibly special. I have a good friend who is due on Christmas day this year!
Marissa A says
Fun giveaways! I love caroling and listening to the seasonal music. Our favorite group is the Accapella men’s group, Home Free.
Kendra says
I’ve never heard of that group. Thanks for the heads up!
Darla says
The excitement and the music…..the smiles…..the lights…….these are a few of my favorite things. 🙂
Kendra says
Sounds like Christmas to me!
Jo Yoder says
I love going home for Christmas. Especially this year, since it will most likely be our last Christmas with my parents & sibling in my childhood home. (My parents are selling, and plan to move by spring if possible.) My husband’s parents are both gone, and he can no longer go home for Christmas, so I count it as a special privilege to be able to do this.
Kendra says
Sounds like an enjoyable time! Hope you have fun.
Cheryl Weaver says
The thing I love about Christmas (or any holiday) is having the husband home and the first hour of the day the whole family lounges in the living room with coffee. So relaxing!!!
Kendra says
Makes me ready for Christmas morning!!
MM says
Christmas is the season where we celebrate our Savior’s birth, and that is what I am trying to focus on most during this busy time of year!
Kendra says
So true! He is our reason for living!
