This will be a “bloggy”-type post. So some of you will probably roll your eyes and say “just get over the technical stuff already”! True. But if you’ve ever wondered how your facebook comments appear on the blog, this is how. Via a cute plugin. And since we’re already talking about that one, let’s start with it.
5 WordPress Plugins I Like
This plugin takes all facebook comments left on a link you post on your facebook page connected to your site – and adds them into the comment section of your blog post. I’ve found that many times I get more comments on a link I put on facebook, rather than on the actual blog post. People are more apt to leave a comment using their facebook connection rather than filling out a comment form. There are other plugins that you can put directly on your blog that allow someone to use their facebook login to comment on your post, but I haven’t found any I like well yet. So this is a good compromise with facebook folks, and non-facebook folks!
Want to add a unique signature to each blog post? This is the one to help you with that. The only downside I’ve found is that it doesn’t transfer into my email subscriptions. But that, to me, isn’t a big deal.
If you’re thinking of moving from Blogger to WordPress, this is a great plugin to help with the transfer. It takes your posts, images, comments, and categories from your Blogger site, and moves them to your WordPress site. Now you need to know it is not 100%. I have found a couple posts that got lost on the way over and never made it to my WordPress site. They are still floating around in cyberspace somewhere!
I love this little plugin! In long-winded posts, sometimes you need something to break it up. This takes a quote from your blog and puts it in its own little box on the side. You can see an example in My Career As a Mother. I just recently put this plugin on the blog so I haven’t used it much. But I like it so far!
This is a very popular plugin that adds social sharing buttons to the bottom of each post or page on your blog. A plugin like this makes it easy for social folks, and it even comes with a “print-friendly” and email button as well.
If you’re a blogger or have a WordPress website, these are some of my favorite plugins. Not nearly all of them, but a few that are still available to download and ones I recommend. Have fun!!

These are truly wonderful plugins you have mentioned in this article. Using plugin for a website’s commenting system is really worth for visitors as well as web master because it makes your commenting system more interactive. In my last blog, I used “Ideas v1.1.5” as an interactive feedback & commenting system. It is actually a premium WordPress plugin that enables you to get user suggestion with easy moderation. One can also check it out here:
