8 Weeks To a Healthier Me – Update #2
Let me count backwards a minute . . . we are now six weeks into my 8 Weeks To a Healthier Me journey! And about three weeks from my last update.
So here is what has happened in the last three weeks.
Weight Loss = 2 more pounds! This makes a total weight loss of 6 pounds in 6 weeks. And supposedly, a pound a week is a good, sustainable rate.
Remember that wonderful sleep thing? I’m forgetting what it was already. Mr. Fat Squishy has been pushing his top two front teeth through and my babies are always the “grumpy, let’s-not-let-mom-sleep” kind of babies when getting teeth! But I feel pretty certain he’ll go back to sleeping well again once his teeth are through. If not, I’ll have to get tough like I did earlier (which I aim to tell you about someday).
One huge achievement is this: my old dresses are fitting better!! As in, I actually wore one of them to church yesterday. This makes me happy – especially since they are my favorites.
Energywise, I feel really good. Especially considering how busy canning season is! In the last few weeks, we’ve put up green beans, applesauce, peaches, and dug up potatoes. We’re tired, but thankful.
I am still enjoying riding my bike about four days a week. Sometimes I even get in more if I need to run over to the garden around the corner. I am borrowing a bike trailer and my two little guys are enjoying it immensely!
Well that’s really all for this little update! I will give the final update in two weeks. Have a wonderful week!

Betty, since I don’t like pictures taken of me alone – I grabbed the closest victim. 😉 Thanks for the encouragement, Darlene!

If I had found your blog earlier I would have joined you. Keep doing what you are doing. Don’t forget about your 30min of down time. Congratulations!
