I was going to quickly put up a recipe post using an oldie goldie that I tried this Christmas. However, I got to looking through pictures, then we also went sledding, and now that one post will turn into three. Or more.
You’re welcome.
These jello squares were a new recipe I tried for Christmas. I quickly took this picture using one of the leftover squares – just minutes before six jello munchers licked the pan clean.
That was close.
If you want the recipe, you can get it from Pioneer Woman’s website here: Christmas Finger Jello. I really didn’t have to take this picture, but it’s just so very pretty and Christmasy.
The official holiday part of Christmas was celebrated today – Monday – since Christmas fell on Sunday. At least for the postal workers! And their wives.
This wife had too much Christmas. Or maybe just too much sugar and coffee. Somebody give me time-out and send me to my room.
Instead, Dad took us to the mountains. That is as good as a time-out!
Our usual sledding hill was not packed down well and was beginning to fill up with people. So we took off down the road with Dad pulling us behind his Jeep.
Being the ornery guy he is, he took off down a little side road toward the lake.
The snow was so deep the kids were like little bitty snow plows on their sleds! But they loved it.
And this picture is just because I have not truly played with my camera in a long time.
Tomorrow I will take you down memory lane with some old photos I was recently working with. Until then, enjoy this beautiful Monday!
