We have had a couple rounds of cousins pass through here recently and here are some pictures for you! Our kids loved having their first cousins around whose ages pretty much stairstep between our own children. You will see what I mean from the pictures.
My sis and I were busy feeding this crew and making sure they all had clean clothes on. In amongst sisterly talks!
You will find more pictures of these three together – from the time they got up in the morning until bedtime, they were together!
We introduced our company to the zipline!
This was Sunday morning – or rather noon. They had been strictly instructed not to change clothes until the mamas had taken their picture!
This is Keith and Coryna Bucher and their sweet family. Coryna is my older sister!
Seriously, there were games going on all over the place.
And if there were too many bodies in the living room . . . or you needed a quiet place to play mandolin . . . then you found a corner somewhere else.
The three little peas in a pod. You never got just one. You always got three.
Campfires, guitars, mandolins, marshmallows, and songs in the breeze. It was awesome!
Here they are again. Aren’t they adorable?
Yes they are. I am known for answering my own questions! Just ask Lowell. . .
And we introduced them to the boys camp swing!
They loved it!
Megan and Ranita – two close in age!
These two boys played this game up until the last moment before they loaded in the van. Every minute that wasn’t taken with something else, you would find these two on the table or floor with this game in full swing!
Once the first set of cousins left, we received some more in a few days! Waneda Graber, who is Lowell’s aunt, as well as some of her children, Wayland, Glendon, and Darlyn. Her daughter and son-in-law, Levi and Mindy Chupp – and their two sweet kids. And yes, we also introduced them to the zipline and the boys camp swing as well. However, they were only here for one full day and two nights, so we didn’t get to show them much more. Yet it was special to be able to take Waneda out for a couple hours to see some Idaho folks she had not seen in probably a couple decades!
So there is our last couple weeks in a few pictures. Have a wonderful summer!

I’m curious – what’s the game the boys played all the time? I’m always on the lookout for good children’s games!
Kendra says
It’s called “The Deer Hunting Challenge”. If you have any hunters in your family, they will love it!

What wonderful fun! There’s nothing like family getting together. We’re leaving NE Washington and heading back to Nebraska next month for a week to see our family. Goodness that will be a change won’t it!? Thank you for sharing.
Blessings, Betsy

Charming, lovely pictures! The children look so happy. You are blessed!
I notice your sister and her daughters wear cape dresses, they look slightly different than yours. But all of you look beautiful! I would like to wear dresses like yours, they are so feminine.
God blessings on your family.

Thank you, Patty! Yes, we are very blessed – and I hope to pass these blessings on in my lifetime. As for our cape dresses, it mostly depends who makes your pattern. One of our ladies in church makes our patterns for us, but you can ask for specific things. For example, I just recently had her make me a new one that fits better after 6 babies 😉 and also has gathers on the front cape. Modesty and inward beauty are virtues I also hope to pass on to my daughter! God bless.

Looks like you had a blast with your family. It’s good when your kids can have a playmate.
