Our ladies Sunday School class has reached the end of Colossians. Well . . . let’s just say the men’s class reached the end. We had to stop in chapter three since we were having such a good time discussing submission. I have some really great ladies in my class and they teach me much wisdom, not only by their words – but by their actions in everyday life!
So if you want to have the study questions for the book of Colossians,
you are welcome to download or print them here.
Since we never got to the end of the chapter, we never used all these study guides – but I still typed some up anyway. So you are welcome to use them, print them, or distribute them to your own classes. I always love a little help!
Speaking of help . . .
One of the sisters in church told me of a downloadable Bible study program called E-sword. I was highly interested since my lap can look like this while studying:
E-Sword is FREE and downloads straight to your computer! I love it for the entire Bible search, the Strong’s concordance, and several commentaries I downloaded to it. It is so easy to compare the same word in different passages, look up a meaning, or see what Matthew Henry says on it.
Some of the E-Sword features (from their website):
- Parallel Bible
- Integrated Editor
- WYSIWYG Printing
- Strong’s Tooltips
- Scripture Tooltips
- Compare Bibles
- Powerful Searches
- Reference Library
- Graphics Viewer
- Audio Sermon
If you are interested in only the Matthew Henry Complete Bible Commentary on your Kindle, you can click here for the one I had previously bought for only $.99. This was so nifty that the entire huge book that sits on my shelf, also fit into my little Kindle that I can hold in one hand!
Living in the digital age, I think it’s amazing at how much easier it can be to study the Bible, with everything so compact and easily accessible. I still love those old books and they continue to grace my shelf, but I’m afraid this little mama has also fallen in love with her Kindle!
