Come walk with me . . . through gardens of summer.
You must leave your sandals at the garden gate to enjoy it most!
Footprints in the garden patch. It’s what summers are made of!
Beautiful, even rows make me feel peaceful in my garden.
We picked this big cabbage and he was quite lovely to behold!
Yellow bell peppers will grace our table soon!
Flowers make a vegetable garden even more beautiful.
Barefoot is how I garden best.
And summer is, well, not summer . . .
without petunias!
The promise of strawberries next year!
Red raspberries are for little tummies to enjoy.
A Sunday afternoon calls for a tall, cold glass of mint tea.
Sunflowers beginning to bloom.
And right around the corner, we have our potatoes, corn, and beans.
With every weed pulled, it helps to remember
the reward at the end of summer.
Steaming hot corn on the cob . . . slathered in butter.
God has given us so much bounty!

It’s all so pretty and soon will be so delicious. So much healthier than what has laid in the grocery store for who-knows-how-long.

You know I had to soak up these pictures, Kendra! Wish we could be there to experience it all. Are these all taken at your place?

No, the ones with the corn and beans are over at Charles’ garden…..right around the corner from us. Wish you could see them in person, too, Mom!
