If you’re on a diet, you will want to shut this page before your eyes fall to the picture below. If you don’t, it will be detrimental to your health, your waistline, and that golden number on your scales.
Oh dear. You looked, didn’t you?
If you’re a bad, bad girl like me, this picture will make you want to stop at the grocery for a bucket of vanilla ice cream. That will be your first fatal mistake.
Second one will be when you lick off the rubber scraper, the pan, the bowl, and even the counter – if perchance some dripped on it while making this wicked concoction.
Now that you know it looks positively delicious, let me tell you that the calories are well worth being spent on something such as this!
Hot Fudge Topping
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
dash of salt
Mix the dry ingredient mixture with the melted butter. Add 2/3 cup water while stirring.
Cook over low or medium heat……depends if you want to stand there all day stirring. 🙂 Be careful not to burn it. Once it starts thickening up, pull off of the stove and add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
Drizzle over vanilla ice cream and warm brownies for one of the best desserts ever!
I’ll have to confess, though. The word drizzle combined with hot fudge topping is not in my vocabulary. I prefer a little ice cream with my homemade chocolate sauce, thank you.
Now you’re welcome to lick off the spoon. I won’t watch while you start on the counter.
