There is a message that began over 2,000 years ago. God Himself was the first to proclaim it when He sent His angels to Mary at the tomb. The message is this:
Mary announced it. Peter preached it. Paul debated it. Martyrs sang it. Believers shouted it.
Down through the centuries, critics have argued against the monumental fact of the Resurrection. Yet who can argue with an empty tomb?
Scholars have studied it, philosophers have debated it, and evil has tried to kill it.
The declaration of the empty tomb still stands despite the attempts of rulers, dictators, kings, and Satan himself to erase it.
Forgiven sinners laud it, fathers teach it, preachers proclaim it, and missionaries declare its vibrant message to the far corners of the world.
The proclamation that echoed off the walls of the empty tomb that Easter morning is still reverberating into the souls of men and women today. The message is still alive because our Lord and Savior is still alive!
This life-altering message has rang out through the centuries and continues like clapping thunder down the corridor of time. Our Jesus, who died on the cross and was laid in that cold, dark tomb, did not stay there!
In the light of the power of the Resurrection, evil was made power-less.
Join your voices with those of Mary, Peter, Paul, and the ones who died proclaiming this message is indeed true.
The Hope of the Resurrection needs to be told to the drunk on the corner, the babe in the nursery, the murderer in prison, and the hypocrite in the pew.
It is for the teacher and the student, the mother and the child, the preacher and the sinner, the king and the slave.
So let your voice be heard!
