I hope you aren’t getting tired of these pictures yet. Because I was going to try and squeeze two days onto this post also, but I have given up. Too may pictures and I don’t want to leave many out! So you will have to put up with me – this series might get rather long.
These pictures are from Sunday after returning to Dad’s from church. We took a huge formal family picture. It was rather chaotic at times with dogs running in and out, children escaping the photo shoot, and the green squeaky crayon (that was brought to make kids smile) being squeaked incessantly. I finally hid the squeaky crayon until the shoot was all done.
I had more fun watching the photographer and her sidekick, Krissa, trying to make the kids smile! Oh, she is not going to like me for posting this . . .
The Graber family is dominated by males. For several years, these two were the only girlies in the grandkid department. And they stick together like glue!
They now have two baby girls born within the past year to help even things out a bit. But the baby girls were not able to help them out in their camping adventure this summer!
They acted very much like normal women and took everything but the kitchen sink on their little camping trip all over Grandma’s yard. Even went so far as to continually be “lost” on their venture. I suppose that is another trait of our gender . . .
After our quick Sunday dinner of pancakes and sausages, the children were privileged to have a pancake toss with the remaining pancakes. (Courtesy of Krissa, bless her heart!)
They had to toss the pancake from their plate to the guy behind them in line – who then tried to catch the pancake onto his plate.
Some were shocked that they actually caught it!
And while throwing it back up the line . . . things got a little messy.
There you go, brother dear. Have a multigrain pancake facial!
Lowell’s three sweet sisters!
Daryn and Jeanie giving Ranger rides for the kiddos . . . or maybe they were escaping the chaos. I don’t know because I don’t remember taking this picture!
Sunday afternoon in Grandma’s hammock with a snuggly baby. Can life get better? 🙂

The ranger picture was to escape kids….well sorta. 🙂 Jeanie, Daryn, and I drove over to Kenny’s to pick something up and I remember stealing your camera as I went out the door. 🙂 Oh and wow what a cheesy picture Danae, maybe I should have deleted it before I gave your camera back…:)

Don’t feel one bit bad about sharing tons of posts with pictures! It is a great way to keep track of memories :). I only took 1,431 pictures from our 3 night stay in Pennsylvania :). My family teases me about how many pictures I take but when I find them all sitting watching them on the computer screen exclaiming how little they were or the great memories they have of such and such … I know deep down (though they won’t admit it) they are really glad I love taking pictures so much!
Looking forward to the rest of you posts :).

My kids love looking at the pictures too! Some day I will print a bunch and put them in albums ….. when life slows down.

Sometime I think we will try the pancake toss .. it looks like fun and much cleaner than eggs :).

Daryn’s two younger brothers are best friends and schoolmates of my two boys! I’ve been reading The Shoe for a long time, and had no idea that Jeanie is your SIL. Small world. 🙂
