School is almost over and we are SO excited! Mom maybe more so than even some of the kids. But that’s usually the way it is . . . we are ready for it to begin and ready for it to end!
We are also getting ready for two sets of Indiana company to begin arriving next week – so you will find this blog even quieter and my freezer even fuller!
Lowell was a sweetheart and plowed up a large portion of pasture grass to make into garden for me. So if nobody can find me and I do not answer my phone . . . come look for me in my dirt-filled playground. I will be there.
And this is the incredibly gorgeous view from my garden! Is it any wonder I love to pray here? It is blessedly quiet and God’s beauty is all around me.
My little greenhouse keeps chugging along and the flowers are finally growing bigger!
Some of our children have struggled with piles of homework the past couple years. So at the beginning of this year we decided to give them a little incentive to work harder and more diligently while at school. The other school-age siblings were able to pitch in towards this goal as well. They racked up a certain amount of points towards lessons completed during school hours – and this was their reward! A trampoline that they have been begging for for a while now!
Diligence and hard work pay off – but it usually takes lots of time and effort.
Happy Spring y’all!!
