They were fleeing for their lives with their little ones beside them and a furious king with his powerful army behind them.
Then they found their road ended in the gentle waves lapping at the shores of the Red Sea. In desperation, a cry went up to the portals of heaven.
But God made a way.
Long before they’d begun to pack their belongings, He knew they would come to a seemingly dead end. And He’d already had a plan.
The lonely man with the magnificent heartbreak was slowly climbing the mountain. His only son beside him.
His road ended in an altar where he picked up a knife for one reason – obedience to the Almighty. His heart’s cry echoed up to the throne room of Glory.
Where God had made a way.
Long before Abram had started the grieving trek up the dusty mountain road, God had lined up a substitute for his sacrifice.
She wondered what she was doing there. Away from her Uncle Mordecai and all the comforts of home. Her life as a little Jewish girl was gone forever as she found herself among the virgins brought unto the king. What was the purpose in this?
Then she saw God had made a way.
Long before Hadassah had been forced to leave her childhood home, He had known of the evil to come and had already formed a plan. All she needed to do was obey.
Do you want to know the heart of God?
Long before you reach the end of your rope…..long before your heart has broken in two……years before you have faced this struggle……God has made a way.
My own heart was hurting and my prayer was this “Lord, I need you not every hour – but every minute right now.” I felt alone – not knowing He had provided a way.
Almost to the day, He was speaking to someone else. And then this someone else spoke His words to me.
How can I ever doubt the heart of God? For I have seen it with my own eyes and felt it in my own soul.

Great post! If we obey, and fight that urge to do our own “thing” God is always faithful to do what is right for us. We are not always faithful but I am so thankful that He is.
