I know this blog has been really quiet this week. We have had a very full week for our local church. An ordination is planned for tomorrow evening and so the past several days have been filled with much prayer, fasting, preaching and nomination services. It has been so good to feel the Lord moving in our church! It proves to me He is still among us when we can feel His Spirit softening our hearts.
And through it all this Proverbs 31 lady whom I’m supposed to be studying won’t leave me alone. She keeps popping up every time I have a moment to sit down and relax. I’ve sketched her character enough to know that she didn’t have internet and a blog . . . . and probably not the bowl of ice cream either.
Therefore, I most certainly should get back to studying her once again to see how she filled up her spare time. Come to think of it, I don’t know if she even had spare time with all she got done in being not only a wife and mother, but a realtor, businesswoman, husbandman, seamstress and . . . . . okay, that makes me tired. I must need to refill the ice cream bowl.
So I shall leave you fair people until I have properly dealt with this lady who hounds my footsteps. Tomorrow I plan on passing her on to the poor innocent victims in our Sunday School class. You may wish to say a prayer for them . . . . they just might never be the same.
