Want to know what happens when you give a baby an espresso?!!
I read an interesting article this week by Tim Challies.
We’ve written briefly on here about Theresa of Avila and wanted to share this article with you. It is excellent and reiterates why we have the concerns we do about mysticism in the Body of Christ.
As soon as the temperature was stretching towards 70-75, the kids thought they were HOT!
Out came the sprinkler. I was only a very tiny bit jealous . . . especially since I still had my sweater on. I’d much rather play in my strawberry patch.
Ever heard of Bill Johnson of Bethel Church in Redding, CA? Take extreme caution when encountering anything he has to say.
Here is an excerpt of a tract written by Lighthouse Trails Research regarding Bill Johnson:
In Redding, California, Bethel Church has become one of the largest evangelical churches in North America. Many people from around the world travel to Redding to attend the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, and C. Peter Wagner (“founder” of the New Apostolic Reformation movement) has called Bethel’s senior pastor, Bill Johnson, an “apostle.”
Given that title with claims on the church website that Bethel has a “global impact as a revival resource and equipping center,”2 it is expedient and responsible to examine Johnson and determine if he is indeed an apostle sent from God to the body of Christ.
The Physics of Heaven, a recent book Bill Johnson contributed to, and his personal assistant co-authored, reveals a very different picture than that of the apostles described in the Bible. It appears that rather than an apostle of God, Bill Johnson may be poised to serve as the vehicle that carries the New Age and quantum spirituality deep into the Body of Christ. (Read more . . . )
With all the help I’ve had planting flowers, we got done in record time! Logan was in charge of whacking down an old, wild rosebush of some type under the front porch steps. He got a big chunk of root out and simply had to smell it! Don’t ask me why.
At first he said it smelled like licorice. Then changed his mind to watermelon. After that he started waving it near my nostrils to get my opinion.
I voted watermelon.

One last pic to leave with you that’s been floating around the web:
