The Gospel According to Megan
The “cleanliness is next to godliness” part of a mother in me wanted to take down the papers on my daughter’s bedroom door.
Until I stopped to actually read them.
“Jesus will come back to earth and take everybody that trusted Him to a prepared place for them.”
“Jesus was born on Christmas Day.”
“Jesus loves everybody.”
“Jesus died for our sins.”
Keep them, we shall.
That cleanliness part in me just got humbled once again . . .
Especially when the Lord sends these verses to mind:
“And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41-42

That should be enough reading to keep us all out of trouble for a while . . .
Behold my experiment. 🙂
I am trying my hand at sourdough bread and making my own starter! This was on day 9 of the experiment. Now to try baking some . . .
It worked!! On the second try.
First try we ended up with bread dough stuck to the “wet-towel-that-turned-dry-overnight” and to the cookie sheet beneath it. Do you know how yucky it is to get raw bread dough out of a cloth? LOTS of yucky bread dough? Bleh.
But I tried it a different way the following night, and by morning we had rising sourdough bread!! Lowell and I love it! The kids, however, weren’t too sure about the “sour” part of it. I’ll have to keep working on them . . .
Sometimes we wear pajamas . . . where pajamas were not meant to be worn.
Must have been one nasty breakfast . . .
One final reminder to join our “Just for Mommy” Giveaway that ends next week!
