Some beautiful spring and summer days, the children and I like to pile on the four-wheeler or their bicycles and ride down to the meadow. It’s best to get there before they bring the cows in, though. That usually happens sometime in May, and from then until November you have to watch where you step!
But even with the cows there, it’s still beautiful, peaceful, and green!
There is a creek that runs through the meadow . . .
and an old wooden bridge that crosses it.
The sky is a brilliant blue . . . the mountains are turning lush green . . . and we stop to thank Him for the gift of one more day in which to enjoy all this!
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

These creeks beg to be waded in. Is the water always cold?
Living in the Shoe says
Almost all water around here is cold! Our own creek is snowmelt and is pretty frigid. 🙂 Even then, the kids love to put their toes in.

I’m missing it this summer…..I was just remembering today how much fun Logan and I had finding all those flowers to snack on 🙂
