Summers are the times when our little family loves to get out and enjoy the mountains. This summer, you will get to enjoy the great outdoors with us! On our little outings, we will try to take the camera along and share God’s beautiful country with you in a series we will call “This Land of Ours”.
Going out into God’s great creation, viewing the majestic mountains, sitting by a roaring waterfall, or standing on the edge of a cliff. These all do one thing . . .
They confirm our belief in a Supreme Creator!
So come join us as we take you mushroom hunting – as our little family enjoyed it Sunday afternoon.
This is how we explore the mountains — in Tigger, our orange mail-route Jeep!
Wild strawberries were all over the mountain! They will be fun to pick later on, but they are usually so tiny that it takes 5 to equal a regular strawberry.
The mountains are full of treasures!
Morel mushrooms can be hard to spot when there is so much brush and pine needles on the ground.
When we all pile in Daddy’s Jeep, we never know where we will end up. That is half of the fun!
Yes, Wyatt even found some mushrooms. He was right proud of himself!
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of His holiness.
