While we took a break from blogging . . .
someone aiming to perfect the art of emptying the toilet paper roll.
These wild kids tried making a snow jump for their sleds on Daddy’s driveway.
Daddy wasn’t too thrilled about navigating it on the way up his hill.
We loved us some Christmas candy!
I won’t tell you what my face looked like . . .
The kids rediscovered all the funny stories linked to their names in the book. But they no longer like me to call them “munchkins”.
Crazy Mom is one of those who might forever live in the past. I still see soft, snuggly babies with kissable cheeks and marshmallow muscles; although, it is a serious blow to their ego to be perceived that way.
One morning I woke up so tired, I literally followed my coffee mug around the house. Finally found it in the bathroom – right where I’d left it to comb somebody’s hair.
That was a tired day. One I’ll leave in the archives.
Got it.
One satisfied baby right there.
Reading stories at bedtime in Grandma’s basement when we went home for Christmas. Memories they will remember for years to come!
The male species and their competitive spirit.
When it gets to be too much, I retire to my corner with some Pot de Creme from Pioneer Woman. Refuels the feminine in me . . .
Legos are a vital piece of Christmas with the cousins. I could kiss the inventor of Legos. He must have had a dozen kids that needed something to keep the hands and mind busy.
My kids were shocked to discover I played with Legos when I was a kid. Am I truly that old to deserve the memories of my happy childhood being reduced to antique relics?
Don’t answer that.
The kids confused Baby Dallas with Mr. Potatohead.
Teaching his little brother how to run his remote control monster truck. Something he’s going to need to know by the time he’s three.
Two January birthdays!
9 years old
. . . and an ornery 4.
Snow, snow, and more snow. We love snow . . . until January. Then we love spring and grass and watermelon and popsicles.
Baby has reached the huge milestone of sitting up all by his big-boy self. And Mommy tucks away every moment because they are going way too fast . . .
We’ll leave you with that cheery smile and pray you have a blessed week.
