Homemade Rice Krispy Granola

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 12 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 4 cups rice krispies
  • Optional:  add nuts or coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix the oil, honey, milk, and vanilla.  Add in the oats and rice krispies.

  2. Spread on two cookie sheets (with sides).  Bake at 300 for 45 minutes.  Stir every 15 minutes while baking.

  3. Remove from oven.  Stir while cooling so granola does not stick together.

Note:  sometimes we add mini chocolate chips once the granola has cooled.
