Autumn is that time of year. Picture time. For the whole family. Even the cat decided to get in on this one.
I don’t know how it is for other families, but picture time is never really relaxing. It has more of a “let’s get this done and over with” feeling about it. On this particular Sunday in October, we got home from church and tried to squeeze in the pictures before lunch. So if we look hungry, that is why.
This looked like a nice field to have as a backdrop.
While I was playing with the camera settings to get lighting just right, the children didn’t know they were being photographed. I didn’t hardly realize it either until I looked at the pictures later.
I like this one. They were oblivious to the camera lens . . . and I’m really curious what they were talking about.
I broke the camera, folks.
The focus and lighting was great up until the moment I pushed the button to begin the self-timer. Then I entered the picture and we all went fuzzy.
Unfortunately, I didn’t catch this until hours later when looking at the pictures on my computer. Soooo, we had to find a new place this time since the sun was beginning to set.
New place. New picture.
And . . . Her Highness, the fat kitty cat, photo bombed this one.
After so many tries, this photo will simply have to do. Until next year.
Happy autumn . . . and almost winter – from the Idaho Graber’s!!
