One of our favorite quick-and-easy recipes around here is Chicken Alfredo. It only needs three ingredients and turns out yummy every time! Oh yes . . . . it also requires a particular spice.
First ingredient is cooked pasta of your choice. For this meal, we used whole wheat spaghetti noodles.
After cooking and draining the pasta, it is time to add the chicken. You can use leftover cooked chicken or buy chicken already cooked at the supermarket. We like to buy the grilled chicken strips at Costco and other times we use leftover chicken or turkey in the freezer.
Now comes the unique spice that consists of little boy germs off of little boy fingers that like to snitch when Mom isn’t looking.
Mum! That is ewwwyy! |
Next you add the alfredo sauce. For us, we don’t mind the cheapo Safeway brand and in fact, we think it’s downright good.
And if you want you may add some salt, stir it altogether, and now you you have Fast, Easy Chicken Alfredo!
It is as delicious as it looks! |
This meal is quick and fills up the tummies of hooligans such as these . . . .
L to R: Cowboy (I’m thinking turned robber or horse thief), Muskateer, and Princess |
I’m thinking Mr. Cowboy there might have turned robber or horse thief. But at least we had the Muskateer to protect the pouting Princess. You will have to pardon her pretty little pout . . . . she had just fallen due to her pink high-heeled shoes. This was a picture taken on Dress-up Day at school. And boy, did they have fun!
