Easy, homemade granola with real oats and honey.
We love to eat this for breakfast, with Honey Nut Cheerios mixed in, and as a snack.
Top Greek yogurt with a generous helping of granola.
Add strawberries, peaches, or raspberries.
Mini chocolate chips, coconut, pumpkin seeds, or pecans.
Oh so yummy and crunchy and chewy at the same time!
Homemade Rice Krispy Granola
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 12 cups old-fashioned oats
- 4 cups rice krispies
- Optional: add nuts or coconut
Mix the oil, honey, milk, and vanilla. Add in the oats and rice krispies.
Spread on two cookie sheets (with sides). Bake at 300 for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes while baking.
Remove from oven. Stir while cooling so granola does not stick together.
Note: sometimes we add mini chocolate chips once the granola has cooled.
