Sometimes . . . we make it supper granola.
Plain Greek yogurt, sweetened with raw honey, and sprinkled with a generous helping of granola.
Add strawberries, peaches, or raspberries.
Oh so yummy and crunchy and chewy at the same time!
Homemade Rice Krispy Granola
1/2 cup oil
1 cup honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
12 cups old-fashioned oats
4 cups rice krispies
Optional: add nuts or coconut
Mix together well. Spread on two cookie sheets (with sides). Bake at 300 for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes while baking.
Remove from oven. Stir while cooling so granola does not stick together.
Note: sometimes we add mini chocolate chips once the granola has cooled.
