I used to think spring was my favorite time of year. But this spring has been rather cold and cloudy . . . and I’m thinking summer is sounding really really awesome!
I wonder if God ever looks down at us and shakes His head at how we have our favorite seasons – when He gave them to us for specific reasons. Life is like that, I guess. There are blessings in the summer and winter seasons of our lives.
But since this spring has been slower in coming . . . plus I started my plants a week or so later, I have found that my plants are not as far along as last year this time. I’ve also had to do some experimenting with the heating in the greenhouse – we started out with a different heater than last year.
I’m finding that this greenhouse growing thing is a big experiment. But there are two things I like to experiment in: food and plants. Don’t ask me to experiment in dress patters – I just tried that and it was a total flop. I will stick with dirt and seeds!
I’ve been feeding the transplants vitamin B-1 – but I also started this a little late. Last year I used Monty’s fertilizer on them and I’m going to order some more to see if it can help them along!
Have a wonderful spring!!
