Harvest time!
Must be half-monkey to pick in some of the trees!
We are so blessed.
Amen and amen.
These will get eaten fresh,
made into fruit leather,
and dried as apple slices.
Oh how we love harvest!
A coupla nuts.
That’s what they are.
The boys. Not the apples.
The plums are so delicious!
Most of this box will get eaten fresh. What doesn’t get eaten will be dried into plum pieces!
No. They truly did not have to push the four wheeler. They were supposed to be the ones who picked up the apples that fell out of the boxes.
But, hey.
Life is turned into an adventure when you’re 4, 7, and 11!
Almost 3 bushels of pears ripening in our basement! (not all are pictured here) The basement is beginning to smell REALLY good.
Now the work fun begins . . .

You ARE blessed! Can’t wait till our orchard is producing that much. (and yes, it DOES increase the work load!)
Living In The Shoe says
Amen to that. The pears are ripening up – so that’s what I will be doing for the next week!

Oh, lovely-your fruit!!! I’d enjoy helping put some of it away.
Living in the Shoe says
I’d certainly love your expertise, Mom! We are drying lots of fruit leather – I got 2 more sheets so we can now do 3 at at time. Did pears last night and Logan and I LOVE it! Lowell might not, though. 😉
