We love summer! And it is fast slipping away. School will be starting before Mom here is ready and so we must squish as much as we can into the month of August.
Ripen already, will ya?
This little frog must be a part of our summer pictures. His hangout was amongst the windings of my garden hose.
We had a tea party for the Idaho Girls Camp – and LOVED it!! We don’t get enough tea parties around here.
Let’s give big brother a hug while he’s still dripping water from the pool inside my dry house!!
Oh well, Wyatt cooled off anyway.
This is our second litter of kittens this summer. The first batch all died and the children were so disappointed. But God provided another litter for us to enjoy! Although I’m not sure Daddy’s thinking they are such a blessing….for some reason their fluffy cuteness does not melt his heart like it does the rest of ours.
Some of my summer flowers! I just love summer. Have I said that yet?
Yes, this is my patch of apple mint tea! And, yes, we are enjoying it to the fullest.
These blueberry plants were planted only this spring and one bush already produced 6 blueberries. As you can see, 2 are missing. The children have been severely warned that nobody picks my 6 blueberries. I love picking blueberries and with only 6 on the property I must perform some sort of ritual during the picking of them. Two have been picked and while holding them out in my hand for Wyatt to take one, he grabbed both and stuck them in his mouth. 🙁 The little squirt. Those were my berries…
This swimming gear gets put on and off approximately 4 times on a sunny day. Thank You, Lord, for a clothesline!
Summer simply would not be without an ice cream cone!! Some favorites have been huckleberry, black raspberry, and strawberry. Mine is homemade mint chocolate chip!
This looks scary! Especially that water-pistol-packin’ mama on the left…
Alright, ya got me. You can have my 4 last blueberries……
